Unveiling the Thriving Leaders & Communities (TLC) Report: Recommendations from Nonprofit Leaders of Color

August 28, 2024

We are excited to announce the release of the Thriving Leaders & Communities (TLC): Recommendations from Nonprofit Leaders of Color report in partnership with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

At ProInspire, we believe in seeding, cultivating, and investing in the future we envision. In a world filled with uncertainty, the notion of thriving may seem distant or out of reach for many. However, thriving is not a zero sum game. Despite the real and pervasive challenges faced by communities in the U.S. and globally, we have the power to nurture and invest in the path towards collective progress and transformation.

Nonprofit leaders of color have been at the forefront of creating meaningful change in our communities. They bring resilience, innovation, distinctive strengths, strategic decision-making, and intentional behaviors that already allow for bold and transformational change in their organizations and communities.

Our new report is a comprehensive study engaging 58 senior leaders of color across 39 cities in the United States and illuminates conditions for thriving that we can cultivate and scale to allow individuals, organizations, and communities to flourish. By elevating the insights of these thriving leaders, we are seeding a brighter future for our communities and beyond.
