The Purpose of the REAL 360

The REAL 360: ProInspire’s Racial Equity Assessment for Leaders (The ProInspire REAL 360) brings the Self to Systems: Leadership Model for Race Equity Impact to life by giving you a tangible tool to assist you along your racial equity journey. The REAL 360 is a multi-rater assessment that provides confidential developmental feedback on the practices and behaviors associated with creating and sustaining racially equitable experiences and outcomes in organizations.

The purpose of the REAL 360 is to allow you to collect reflections from your own perspective and anonymous feedback from your community (those you lead, peers, mentors, and/or a supervisor) to strengthen your racially equitable leadership and assist you along your racial equity journey. Additionally, this tool provides you with feedback on your adoption of the Leadership Model’s core commitments, corresponding practices, and intentional actions that can create and sustain racially equitable experiences within our society. The feedback is then made available to you through a confidential and detailed report that includes hidden strengths and potential knowledge gaps in a feedback session.

The Benefits of Participation

When you participate in the REAL 360 Pilot Experience, everyone benefits — you, your organization, your community, your family, ProInspire, our sector, and our world. The REAL 360 assists you in identifying areas in which you are strong in your racial equity leadership and areas to grow. When you grow in your racial equity journey, every life you touch will be transformed in positive ways. 

This tool gathers feedback from you and the raters of your choice. As a result of participating in the REAL 360 Pilot Experience, you will receive:

  • A detailed report outlining your strengths and growing edges along your equitable leadership journey.
  • The opportunity to understand your detailed report by attending a debrief workshop with our facilitation team made up of a statistician, racial equity strategist, and survey methodologist. 
  • An individual coaching session to dive deeper into your personal racial equity analysis with one of our certified coaches who are well-versed in racial equity and inclusion. 
  • A comprehensive Racial Equity Action Plan to put the self-assessment and feedback into concrete action and methods of accountability to implement changes into your daily life.

REAL 360 Pilot Experience Details

The 360 Pilot Experience includes these steps: 

  1. Complete the self assessment and select a minimum of 3-5 raters between Thursday, August 15 and Friday, August 30.
  1. Raters provide feedback between Tuesday, August 20 and Friday, August 30
  2. Book your coaching call with one of our coaches by Friday, September 13.
  3. Participate in a debrief workshop to learn how to analyze your report on Tuesday, September 17, 4:30-5:30pm ET.
  4. Attend your individual coaching session to dive deeper into results and develop Racial Equity Action Plan between Tuesday, September 17 and Friday, September 27
  5. Provide written or verbal feedback on your REAL 360 Pilot Experience between September 25 and October 1.  

Key Dates

The REAL 360 Pilot Experience will run from: August 20, 2024 – October 1, 2024

  • August 13 and August 15: Orientation Dates
  • August 15 – 30: Assessment Period 
  • September 13: Last day to book your coaching call
  • September 17: Results Workshop #1
  • September 17 – 27: Attend individual coaching session
  • September 25 – October 1: Participants provide feedback to REAL 360 team

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the duration of the REAL 360 Pilot Experience?

The REAL 360 Pilot Experience begins at Orientation (August 13 or 15) and ends after you’ve provided feedback by October 1, 2024.

How much time will the actual assessment take?

The self-assessment takes 30 minutes.

How can I access EchoSpan (the platform the REAL 360 is housed on)? 

After Orientation, you will receive an email from [email protected] with how to log-into the REAL360 platform called EchoSpan.

What if I forget my EchoSpan password? 

You would go to the EchoSpan login page and click “I forgot my password.” Please check your spam folder for emails.

What if my raters don’t complete the assessment? 

If your raters do not complete it, they will receive reminders. If they decline the opportunity to be a rater, you will get an email to select different raters.

What happens after the cohort? 

You will have the option of working with your Coach for more sessions. You may also invite us to your organization to offer the REAL 360 to your team or department.

Will my feedback be anonymous? 

Yes, all data is confidential including your report. It will only be shared with you and your coach. Your raters’ feedback will be anonymous. In other words, you will receive the feedback, but the respective rater’s name will be omitted from the report.
