ProInspire CEO Featured by Harvard Business School

 

Monisha_Kapila_impact_profileProInspire’s Founder and CEO, Monisha Kapila, has been featured by Harvard Business School. Monisha is a 2005 MBA graduate from Harvard Business School (HBS) and was inspired to launch ProInspire after serving as an HBS Leadership Fellow with Accion International. In “A Talent Pipeline for Society’s Challenges,” HBS highlights Monisha’s experience creating ProInspire and the organization’s work developing leaders at all levels for the social sector.

The article highlights the success of some ProInspire fellows and the impact they’ve made on their organizations, including:

  • Lina Feng, 2012 ProInspire Fellow in Washington, DC: Lina previously worked for Boston Consulting Group and entered the social sector through the ProInspire Fellowship, working on strategic initiatives for DC’s Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development. Lina stayed with the Deputy Mayor’s office after finishing her fellowship in 2013 and is now a student at HBS.
  • Ivellisse Morales, 2014 ProInspire Fellow in the Bay Area: Ivellisse previously worked for Cone Communications and entered the social sector through the ProInspire Fellowship, working on marketing and communications for Year Up Bay Area. Ivellisse continues at Year Up as marketing and communications manager and recently helped the organization get profiled in the San Francisco Chronicle.
  • Michelle Smith-Howard, 2014 Management Fellow in Washington, DC: Michelle participated in Managing for Success as a manager at DC Promise Neighborhood Initiative. She is now director of early childhood development and intervention at Catholic Charities for the Archdiocese of Washington.
