Sky Waters
Business Innovation Coordinator, Native American Youth and Family Center
Sky Waters is a ProInspire Fellow at the Native American Youth and Family Center (NAYA), a non-profit whose mission is to enhance the diverse strengths of our youth and families in partnership with the community through cultural identity and education. At NAYA, Sky is responsible for supporting Native American entrepreneurs and businesses to succeed. He is currently coordinating an 8-week business training class, providing one-on-one coaching, and running three vendor marketplaces. Prior to NAYA, Sky was a Research Associate on the Capital Markets Innovation team at Fisher Investments, an investment management firm, where he delivered actionable investment analysis to the Investment Policy Committee, the firm’s top decision makers, and served as a data expert to the firm and clients. Sky graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with BS in Economics. Outside of work, Sky enjoys Brazilian jiu-jitsu, playing basketball on 8-foot hoops and reading random books unrelated to business, economics, or investing (Current: The Gene).
