Matt Sjoholm

Systems Associate, Third Sector Capital Partners, Inc.

Matt Sjoholm is a ProInspire Fellow at Third Sector Capital Partners, Inc. in San Francisco. Third Sector is a nonprofit advisory firm that collaborates closely with governments, funders, and service providers across the U.S. to address social needs through Pay for Success initiatives. At Third Sector, Matt is responsible for leading knowledge management, talent development, and other process improvement initiatives across the organization as it continues to grow. Prior to joining Third Sector, Matt spent two years in Healthcare Operations at Cigna as an associate in the Operations Leadership Program (OLP), where he provided strategic and tactical support to an experience design team, managed a group of 18 direct reports, and project managed the program’s recruitment efforts. Before Cigna, Matt conducted research with Paz y Esperanza, an international human rights organization in Moyobamba, Peru where he evaluated opportunities for cross-sector collaboration at the junction of forest conservation and indigenous land rights. Matt graduated from Covenant College with a degree in Community and Economic Development and recently relocated with his wife to San Francisco from Chattanooga, TN. In his spare time, Matt enjoys backpacking, trail running, and just about anything that involves being outdoors.
