Marie LeBlanc

Independent Sector

Marie is the Senior Associate for Programs and Practice at Independent Sector, a leadership network for nonprofits, foundations, and corporations committed to advancing the common good. As Senior Associate, Marie supports two nonprofit leadership development programs, as well as initiatives promoting charitable sector ethics and accountability, with a focus on online engagement and community building. Marie also serves as the Membership Engagement Co-Chair for the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network’s DC chapter (YNPNdc) and volunteers as an ESL teacher for the Washington English Center. Marie is passionate about a wide range of social justice causes and, in her spare time, loves to travel and read. Marie holds BAs from the Florida State University in International Affairs and French/Spanish, and an MSc from the London School of Economics in Development Studies.
