Janell George

Director of Resource Development, Cesar Chavez Schools

Janell George joined Chavez Schools in 2012 as Director of Resource Development. Previously Janell was an Executive Director with CCS Fundraising, LLC, a leading development consulting firm in New York, where she was responsible for multi-million dollar fundraising projects for select nonprofit clients. Prior to that, Janell worked as a publicist for CBS News representing the network’s talent and signature broadcasts such as The Early Show, CBS News Sunday Morning and 48 Hours Mystery. Janell began her career with the William J. Clinton Foundation contributing to major efforts including the Clinton Presidential Library Grand Opening and the inaugural Clinton Global Initiative. Janell is a graduate of Florida A&M University and a native of the Bronx, New York.
