Partnership Manager, Turning the Page

Ellie Canter is the Partnership Manager at Turning the Page, an education non-profit committed to building family engagement capacity in D.C. Public Schools. She leads Turning the Page’s partnerships with three Title I schools to strengthen relationships between teachers and families that foster greater learning outcomes for students. Ellie also trains DC teachers to utilize Literacy Through Photography, an arts-integrated teaching methodology. Before coming to Turning the Page, Ellie graduated with a Master’s in Education Policy and Leadership Studies from the University of Washington’s College of Education. Ellie graduated with a Bachelor’s in English and French Literature from the University of Virginia in 2007.
