Manager of Marketing and Brand Development, Goodwill Industries International

Dara Kahn Peskin is the Manager of Marketing and Brand Development at Goodwill Industries International, one of the world’s leading social enterprises. With 158 autonomous Goodwill agencies in the United States, Goodwills meet the needs of all job seekers with programs for youth, seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities, criminal backgrounds and other specialized needs. Dara develops strategic, innovative and effective marketing campaign collateral and is responsible for day-to-day project coordination of Goodwill’s first-ever national Ad Council PSA campaign and other Goodwill communications. Experience and skills include marketing, branding, campaign analysis, strong interpersonal skills, short- and long-form writing, digital and social media, and video and photo shoot production. Dara’s background in nonprofit communications ranges from a magazine writer and editor, media relations associate and marketing professional. Dara holds a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University in magazine journalism (Newhouse School of Public Communications), international relations (Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs) and a minor in Spanish.
