Ayanna Baker
Senior Associate, The Annie E. Casey Foundation
Ayanna E.S. Baker currently serves as the Senior Associate at The Annie E. Casey Foundation helping leaders of large public systems think differently about how to design and implement change. She has worked with state and local child welfare leaders to spur child welfare reforms and develop outcomes-based strategies to improve services for families and children; and currently provides research and analysis of new and different approaches to child welfare and other human service delivery systems. Previously she served as executive assistant to the director of Washington, DC’s Child and Family Services Agency, where she supervised day-to-day operations and was a liaison to the mayor, his cabinet, and federal and local government officials. Ayanna holds a BA in political science from Howard University and a MSW from the University of Pennsylvania.
