Adele Nelson

After spending 10 years in the event planning and catering field, companies to include Design Cuisine, Linder Global Events and Google, I moved to Share Our Strength in 2012. At Share Our Strength, I’ve been in charge of fundraising and development for their No Kid Hungry campaign – specifically in the DC, MD and VA region. I’ve been managing teams of people for most of my career – from catering staff to volunteer groups for events to internal groups of colleagues, and I’ve had to handle a significant number of management challenges in the process. With large fundraising goals ahead of  me in the next few years, developing new tools for managing and connecting with people of all backgrounds will be extremely important.
