Tahira Rehmatullah
City First Enterprises, Program Manager
Tahira Rehmatullah is a ProInspire Fellow at City First Enterprises, where she is responsible for evaluating potential affordable housing and community development investments, launching a loan fund that supports social entrepreneurship in the Greater DC area, and developing a business plan for a mission-based lending platform for community development finance. Prior to CFE, Tahira was a Research Associate on the Structured Products team at Perry Capital in New York City focusing on domestic and European housing markets, macro economic trends, and residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities. Tahira previously served as a consultant in the Financial Services Advisory practice of Ernst & Young, also in New York City. Outside of work, Tahira spends substantial time volunteering as National Vice President for Youth Outreach – Developments in Literacy, a nonprofit that promotes literacy and education in remote areas of Pakistan. Tahira graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University’s Fisher College of Business with a B.S. in Finance and minor in Life Sciences. She served her alma mater as president of the New York City Alumni Club for five years and continues to support the university through initiatives in the DC area.
Post Fellowship: Tahira started her MBA at Yale’s School of Management.
