Adhanet Ghebray

Year Up Bay Area, Strategic Projects Specialist

Adhanet Ghebray is a ProInspire Fellow at Year Up Bay Area, a nationally recognized and research-validated workforce development and education organization committed to closing the opportunity divide faced by urban young adults. As a Strategic Projects Specialist, Adhanet works to support Year Up Bay Area with various special projects including the student recruitment and admissions process for the first class in the new Silicon Valley campus. Prior to joining Year Up Bay Area, Adhanet spent three years at Albourne America LLC, an alternative investments research and consulting firm, as a Client Account Manager. In that role, Adhanet managed twenty prestigious client relationships including a number of the largest US endowments, foundations and public pensions with collectively over $100B assets. Her passion for the social sector is evident in her subsequent work as an intern for two nonprofits where she was able to use her professional skills in their efforts to bring meaningful change to communities in Africa.

Adhanet graduated with a degree in economics and international relations from the University of California, Davis. She enjoys traveling and has a terrible weakness for sweets.
