Sherry Ezhuthachan

San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center, Strategic Partnerships Manager

Sherry Ezhuthachan is a ProInspire Fellow at the San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center (SFCAPC), a non-profit whose mission is to prevent child abuse and reduce it’s devastating impact. At SFCAPC, Sherry is accountable for managing public and private relationships and providing the project management required to bring the multi-year Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) initiative to final fruition. The CAC is a citywide partnership to develop a first-of-its-kind, comprehensive center that is modeled on the simple but powerful concept of multidisciplinary coordination to create a best-in-class response to incidents of child abuse. Sherry graduated from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. She began her engineering career at Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding by working on electrical support systems for nuclear propulsion on the latest Ford class of aircraft carriers. Sherry then transitioned into Engineering Risk and Configuration Management and finally into Manufacturing Project Management, for a total of 7 years in the defense shipbuilding industry. Sherry then took a 17 month sabbatical to backpack around the world and discovered ProInspire on her return to the United States. Outside of work Sherry is passionate about women’s rights, gender equality, travel and photography.
