Arzina Karimi
Data and Evaluation Coordinator, Compass Family Services
Arzina Karimi is a Bay Area native with a passion to alleviate poverty and de-institutionalize social injustices. She is a ProInspire Fellow at Compass Family Services, a nonprofit that helps homeless families achieve housing stability, financial independence, and family well-being. Arzina is responsible for driving adoption of the organization’s database, analyzing impact and client outcomes, and building out internal performance measurement tools. Prior to Compass, Arzina worked at Facebook and an education nonprofit. Arzina holds a B.A. in Psychology and has a special interest in how people overcome adversity. She spent most of her college years involved with social enterprise initiatives and social justice nonprofits. When she’s not in the office, Arzina loves attending open mic nights, volunteering at her community center, finding the latest remixes on SoundCloud, and sipping on coffee at her favorite SF coffee shops with a book in her hand.
