Laura is a ProInspire Fellow with the World Resources Institute (WRI), a non-governmental global research organization dedicated to issues of climate justice and environmental sustainability. Within WRI, Laura supports the Financial Planning and Analysis and Global Operations teams in process reengineering and the development of infrastructure necessary to support WRI’s continuous institutional growth. Before joining WRI, she worked with Huron Consulting Group as a management consultant for nonprofits across the US. A graduate of UT-Austin, she misses the warm weather in Texas (5 months out of the year) but adores the many cultural, educational, and multilingual experiences available to DC residents. When out of the office, she likes to teach and practice yoga, read and listen to poetry (in translation or not), and go for long, destinationless walks in Rock Creek Park.
