Linda Walubengo

As a young, aspiring leader, I have had the amazing opportunity of working with the most vulnerable populations in a leadership capacity throughout the years. My passion for non-profit work began when I was growing up in Kenya. I always wanted to either give back or be a part of an organization that does so. Throughout my undergraduate and graduate experiences, I had the opportunity to work with organizations such as USAID in a management role which not only enticed me more into this field but it encouraged me to want to grow more as a leader. As I come up to my two year anniversary at Larkin Street Youth Services, I have learnt so much about this work but I realize that I still have room for growth as a leader. My current role is Associate Director of Programs and I hope that this opportunity with ProInspire will provide me with the knowledge, tools, and peer support to increase my ability to create social impact within Larkin Street and the community at large.
