Katie Anderson

Katie Anderson has worked with homeless and foster care youth in Los Angeles for the last 10 years. She has worked for First Place For Youth since 2011 and within the LA County Manager role since January 2015. She oversees all LA County My First Place programs, including staff supervision, monitoring outcomes and program implementation. Prior to this position, she worked for other various non-profits within the same field. Katie has a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California where her concentration was on children and families, with field work in the areas of the mental health and human trafficking. Katie is currently pursuing her LCSW and anticipates obtaining licensure mid 2016.
