Maria Yactayo leads inclusion and equitable access efforts at Goodwill Industries International (GII). Through her work at GII and within the Goodwill network, Maria promotes diversity among the broad range of people Goodwill serves and employs, as well as inclusion of diverse thought at all levels in the Goodwill enterprise and equitable access to opportunities. In addition to managing inclusion and equitable access strategies, Maria leads three mission services portfolios including Hispanic/Immigrants, Reentry services, and People with Disabilities. Diversity, inclusion and equitable access strategic priorities include

• Support of the CEO diversity and inclusion steering committee.
• Support GII’s Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Board.
• Ensure equitable access to all mission opportunities.
• Promote intentional outreach to all populations.
• Provide diversity and inclusion education and awareness within Goodwill including accommodations to achieve equitable outcomes.

Prior to her work with GII, Maria worked with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF). As the Southeast Regional Program Director, Maria managed and implemented the delivery of education programs, educated students on the value and affordability of a college education and motivated Latino parents to serve as advocates for their children’s education.
