
Teri Leavens
Goodwill Industries International Inc.
A communications strategist and program manager, Teri’s career spans both the private and non-profit sectors, offering experience in program management, training, business development, philanthropy and communications.
Teri works with Goodwill Industries International, leading storytelling and individual giving strategy, as well as building local Goodwills’ capacity to hone their community story and raise dollars. In addition, she have worked in Honduras as program manager and scholarship program director at SJBS, a bilingual pre-K through 9 school, oversees the school’s 55-family scholarship program and 20-member volunteer teaching team.
Prior to Honduras, Teri worked with the international public relations firm Weber Shandwick as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practice, working closely with the WK Kellogg Foundation (WKKF), as well as the firm’s business development team supporting business development efforts around the globe.
Teri currently volunteer with CARE International, advocating for women and girls’ rights internationally. Additional experiences include serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA Volunteer, interning in Munich and London and volunteering in Fondwa, Haiti.
