Committed about creating healthy communities, Luizilda de Oliveira has been a leader in health care industry for over ten years. She currently serves as Nurse Manager for La Clinica Del Pueblo, a non-profit, a federally qualified health center that focuses on delivering health care services to Latino and immigrants in the DMV area. There she leads a team of nine employees and participates in the Leadership Capacity Committee. Before La Clinica Del Pueblo, she worked at One World Community Health Center, Nebraska Orthopedic Hospital, and the Omaha Area Health Education Center. She is passionate about education and building healthier communities, particularly underserved populations, through direct patient care, mentoring, staff and leadership development, and creating innovative programs and infrastructure to reach unreached communities.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nebraska Methodist College and Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration from Clarkson in Omaha, Nebraska.
