Kristina Nygaard

Exponent Philanthropy

Kristina works with the membership and marketing team to spread the word about Exponent Philanthropy’s unique community and increase it’s impact. Her role involves extensive relationship-building, and understanding the specific needs of leanly staffed funders. Prior to joining the organization, she interned at the United Nations Global Compact in New York, calling on companies to align their operations with universal principles on human rights and labor. Having lived and worked in four countries, Kristina is passionate about exploring new corners of the world. Her free time in D.C. is spent cultivating this passion, and volunteering with The Homeless Children’s Playtime Project.
